Yes, don't be like one of my room-mates who always walks in smelling like smoke, it's really annoying. (For the past two years I've had a smoker for a room-mate, though this year I got one that listens, and follows the rules, the last one, did not, and smoked constantly inside the dorm, I was constantly sick.)

Everyone in my family smokes and its disgusting.... My brother who moved in with me can't follow my rule of no smoking in the house.... I wish I could kick his butt and kick him out...

I can't hang around smokers period, I would've gotten rid of such a person no matter what. If I didn't I could seriously end up in a hospital. .-.
