It rarely affected my outcome, probably would affect a lot of other peoples though. I always tell people over half of it, is said in class, or most of it it. All you have to do is pay attention, but they look at me like I'm crazy then go read the latest chapter that was required, and do all this extra stuff for two hours, and I just listen, and do well on the tests, most of the time. (This can not be applied to art history as it is nearly impossible to pay attention the further you go in the classes.)
