Man, I'm so glad I never had to touch a text book in the last two years of my high school years haha. I didn't even have to use a locker.

I unfortunately had multiple textbooks all through out highschool, but rarely bothered to read anything out of them, still rarely read what's in a textbook even for my college classes, that require one.

Does that effect your outcome any? Or does the teacher do pretty good about going over everything anyways?

It rarely affected my outcome, probably would affect a lot of other peoples though. I always tell people over half of it, is said in class, or most of it it. All you have to do is pay attention, but they look at me like I'm crazy then go read the latest chapter that was required, and do all this extra stuff for two hours, and I just listen, and do well on the tests, most of the time. (This can not be applied to art history as it is nearly impossible to pay attention the further you go in the classes.)

LOL. their not awesome, since I don't apply myself all that much, but they're better than what most people could get with the amount of work I put in.

Haha that sounds like me Cae when it came to school. I could pay attention to what the teacher said, read the chalkboard and write it in my notebook. Did I learn anything from it not a dang thing. I had to read the book in order to learn it because that was just how my brain worked. Some things I learn by doing, others by hearing and some by reading. I don't have one preferred method and that always was my downfall in classes.
