I wish I could control time

Granted, but because you can control time, everything is now set. Time is linear and there is no longer a probability of something happening, just an eventuality. So yeah you can slow things down and speed things up, but you can't travel back in time or travel in the future because that would require you to change alter whatever was going to happen. You control time, but you are still a bystander.
