that must be weird - not having met the person you will be sharing a room with for the school year. I wonder why they can't decide rooms and have a get to know you before the year ended so you can plan stuff for the upcoming school year. I've never lived in dorms so not sure how it all works out. Well, I will pray that it will be someone who will end up being a very good friend. They must be feeling nervous like you too so the best you can do is give them your smiling face...maybe bring some home made treats or something as an ice breaker? (And if they say, oh, I'm diabetic and can't eat that or I don't eat sweets then just say I'm sorry, when I get to know you better I'll bring/ make something you can eat.
