They have gold shops, but nothing that great in them.
Most of the good stuff is stuff you pay for.
They released a bundle of rares last christmas for $1,000. I wish I was kidding.
I wish I could tell you that no one bought it too.
Their marketplace is also CRAZY inflated now.
When I started in 2009, 100k gold was quite a bit. Now, I have 11bil just sitting on my account and it's still not enough to buy anything good.
it's also full of trolls.

Anyway, I like Windlyn WAAAAYYY more. I like their feather system, the community, and the overall experience.
