I haven't watched "The Wizard of Oz" in a long time. I like most of the songs but some of the story is still kind of creepy....

I have had quite a fuss over my shoes, but that I can understand. They are pretty cute.

I haven't seen the musical (I want to so bad!)
BUT I did read the book and I'm currently reading the second part Son of a Witch.

I read the first book, but not the second one. To be honest however I liked the musical a lot better than the book, it was absolutely great when I got the chance to watch it on stage.

I'd have to agree, seeing it being performed live on stage, gives it a sort of magical feeling.

As far as I know there's no official dvd version. But even if there was, I agree as well. Nothing beats the magic of a live stage performance.

It is so expensive to go see a live performance though! And for me I'd have to pay for travel and hotel.

Sorry to hear that. They rarely put musicals on stage where I live either, but the next town that does is only two and a half hours away, so travel by train is affordable and I can stay with my uncle (so no hotel). But I'll keep my fingers crossed you'll get to see it one day!
