Take time to smell the roses...or at least look at them.

Love, is like a rose.
It is a thing to be shared with another.
If nurtured it will grow from a seedling to a flower.
If it is cared for, it will last on any soil.
And when it blooms, it is the most beautiful.
But even so, it has its thorns.

Not all roses have thorns...and if you look at them only you won't get pricked by the thorns.

The other day at the shops i saw some very pretty multi-coloured roses.
I wish i had taken a photo but i'm pretty sure they were real roses, even if they were artificially coloured.
There was a large price tag on them too...

Have you ever put roses in coloured water to see them change?

Yeah, but in comparing love to a rose, it would be no fun to only look at love.

You can do that?

That's very poetic

I think you split the stem a little bit and put some food colouring in the water and if they're white roses, they should change colour slightly

I think blue dye is supposed to color the flower quickly.

Maybe I will try it on one of my pale yellow roses and see how it turns out. If it does I will take a pic and post it for you!
