y'see, freeze guns are instantaneous. you freeze right away. but heat will melt the ice.
slime guns on the other hand... the slime is sticky, so you tend to stick to stuff. it also slows you down. and it gets everywhere. so hitting one person with it could cause it to affect others as well. and it slowly hardens.
now an ink gun just covers you in ink, and also blinds you.
so really, slime is the way to go.
