I gave up around the time Matt Smith took over. I'm curious about the new Dr.

The only thing is that, with each new Dr they seem to forget more about who they were as their predecessors.

Thanks! ^-^ I figured since it was a simple avatar, I could add glasses and be slightly more like the me in real life! (I wear glasses).

I wonder how many of us wear glasses in real life. I wear them.

I don't wear them as often as I should since it is mainly for distance...but the right frames on a face can really make a great look!

I used to hate my glasses, but now I'm used to them.

If you need them, you should definitely wear them.
True, sometimes glasses make someone look better, or at least it adds nice accents to the face.

I wish I could wear contacts, but I'm too afraid of forgetting to take them out, plus my eyes are too sensitive.

I'm meant to wear them all the time but I only wear them when driving, watching TV and when I'm at work. I'm not a fan of glasses.

I tried to switch to contacts but I couldn't get them in. I kept blinking. I wish I could afford laser eye surgery.

Yeah, I get that. Before I wasn't either, but now they're just a normal thing.

I've never tried contacts, but there are soft and hard lenses...not sure I could keep it in my eye. It took my friend a looooooong time to build herself up to using them, but eventually she did.

I can't wear glasses. They mess with my field of vision and make seeing anything highly irritating, plus the limited walking I do becomes extremely dangerous, even with help. I think maybe huge frames would help?

Unsure if practical given how frequently I need eye drops and how bad my hands are.

I wear glasses

If you don't need to wear them all the time, definitely don't. I started to depend on my glasses all the time when I didn't need them and I found my eye sight becoming worse.

A lot of my eye problems (the nystagmus, the alignment issues, possibly the double vision, though prisim lenses may help with that) are caused by tumors and aren't correctable. I can see the things I need to, so glasses seem like a hassle to me. Thanks for the input, Ali!
