My work has said anyone caught abusing the two week quarantine will be fired. I don't know anyone who would want to. We'd rather be working.

I've only missed 2 days of work because I just so happened to catch a cold at a time like this and I got bored as heck.

I would go crazy being on a 2 week quarantine, not being able to leave the house.

Oof.
I wouldn't mind, I stay at home all day anyway. I would just miss the money from work

2 days is better than 2 weeks. I go crazy when I can't leave my house for 1 day.

My two colleagues who sit either side of me have been sent home to self-isolate for 2 weeks. It's going to be a little bit lonely at work.

If I had a fever, they would have tested for strep and the flu. But I didnt have a fever, luckily.

If I had a fever and tested negative for the flu and strep, then I probably would have needed to stay home longer. Or even if I did test positive, but eh, I always get a cold this time of year and it's always due to the weather not making its mind up.

Oof, sounds like no fun. Hopefully they get back soon.

That's good.

I just hope things start to go back to normal. I really dont want to get to a point fast food joints have to close completely.

Lonelier MissAUtumn but maybe safer not to be breathing in their air?

4 more stores near us closed down, they did not feel take out or delivery was worth the contact risk.

On the good side...I have a friend who is going to get me eggs from their families chickens and one of my customers brought me a container of milk...now I just need the onions and I'm set!

But aren't stores considered an essential service?

Yeah, but I dont think fast food is. But I'm already done being fed up with customers and I've only been to work during this nonsense for 1 day.

I correct myself, npixelz...the smaller businesses have the option of closing if they can't facilitate delivery or take out, or the difficult hurdles they have to jump through if they want to stay open...larger stores are still open although some have restrictions such as reduced hours or limits on what you can purchase. We are not under martial law but are being pressured to stay away from others...although walks in the park or on trails are encouraged.
