What did they do in the days before vaccine's? When people caught the mumps or measles or even polio...did they shut down the schools the businesses? I don't think they did, so how did they all survive it?

Entitled people with their modern problems
Personally i'm loving that more people are washing their hands and keeping their sneezes and coughs to themselves but some people are going too extreme

Oh, yes, that's usually the worst part of getting sick for me. Right as I wake up and my mouth and throat are parched--probably sleeping/snoring with my mouth open because my nose is all stuffy--that first swallow! Pure agony!!

Speedy recovery!

I felt better after waking up, but I was still coughing a lot. I've got a shift later today/when I next wake up so I'm hoping I can feel better for it.

Yeah, it's not a fun feeling.
Thanks.

Me too. Yeah, they're pretty great

I hope another sleep will help you feel even better. Do you have a long shift?

Npixelz, I am surprised they are letting you go into work with a cough, since a cough or sneeze is the main way to transfer a virus. Do they require you to get tested at all for the covid-19? Even if you don't have the corona virus your cough might contain some other virus. Can you get unemployment insurance or sick leave if you have to be off for being sick?

It made me feel better but not 100%

I actually asked them if I should stay home instead and they said I should, so I didn't go in for my shift. I might be going when I next wake up, though. They aren't getting me to test for the virus, but I don't think I have it since my whole family has gone through this cold. I don't think I'll get sick leave since I'm only a part timer
