That sounds so lovely. ^^ I was gifted one for my birthday last year and accidentally killed it from over watering. ;__; Also, I just noticed that I messed up the order in my previous post! I'll fix it!

viola

*only water an orchid every 7 to 10 days (when it feels dry) and never let it sit in water. Put it in a south facing window once the flowers drop. Do not transplant it. They like neglect, or maybe I should say to be left alone.

I had to look one up:
"Known as bear grass or turkey beard, xerophyllum grows wild in western North America and is often one of the first plants to reappear after a wildfire. In spring or early summer, dense, bushy clusters of small, slightly fragrant, white flowers bloom atop tall stalks"
