not a big fan of pumpkin flavored cakes, but there's this pumpkin & chocolate mousse cake my mom buys for thanksgiving from Whole Foods and that, I can't deny, is p good (maybe because the chocolate helps drown our the pumpkin spice flavor?)

Beignet, synonymous with the English "fritter", is the French term for a pastry made from deep-fried choux pastry. - I don't think I have ever tried these but they sound yummy
