Rip

We get candy cane ice cream here at Christmas. It's got chocolate sticks in it as well as candy cane bits

I don't like mix ins in my ice cream unless it is smooth...like caramel sauce for example.

I don't mind mix ins. If it's ice cream, it's ice cream

We don't have DQ over here. There are a lot of Ice Cream Farms around here. You have to get there really early because they're really popular.

What's an ice cream farm? A company, brand?

Ooo, car servicing! I changed the oil on our vehicle a couple of weeks ago! :)

Ice cream farms are independent companies. They're dairy farms that have ice cream parlours on their grounds. A lot of them have children's playgrounds and petting zoos on them, so they're very popular with families. Best time to go is the middle of the week during term time.

This is the first time I've done a service on my car. My fiancé is teaching me. Today I've changed my cabin and air filters, put on new wiper blades, put on new tailgate struts and checked my air con and lights. We did the same on my fiancé's car minus the struts. My car is so much easier to work on than his. His car has so many bolts, mine has clips haha.

I was meant to do a couple of oil changes and change the break discs and pads but the wind has really picked up so we had to stop for today.

Any plans for today galled and npixelz?

That sounds like DisneyLand for ice cream!

Hey, you're doing pretty good! Impressive! We have Toyotas, so they have clips too (designed to be easily maintained). Brake pads and discs are pretty easy on our cars (4 bolts per wheel) after getting the wheel off of course. ;)

It's pretty crazy how much they charge to do some of this stuff. My mom had her cabin filter changed at the dealer and they charged her $65!!

I'll be installing a bidet toilet seat today. It's our second, so should be straight forward.

I wish all cars had clips it makes it so much easier to work on. Getting the bolts off my fiancé's car wasn't too bad - just some of the bolts are in awkward to reach places. I'm hoping my brakes are easy to change.

I can't believe how much they charge for such easy jobs. $65 is ridiculous! The filters took 5 mins each to replace and they're not expensive.

Good luck at installing the bidet seat. Doesn't sound like it'll take you too long.

It has been a beautiful day...I've been working outside and am ready for a popsicle...or ice cream!

The more we are able to manage ourselves the less reliant we are on someone else...not that I want to put people out of work...I just can't always afford to have someone else do it all the time...so I do what I can and I let the special people in my life do the rest, and if none of us can do it, then we pay for someone else to!

Sounds fun!
Seems you did well.
Rip.
Not much. Going to sleep soon and then go to work tonight.

Indeed.
Clips sound like a good idea, then.
Wowzers.
Isn't that the toilet that shoots water?

Yeah, that would be better if they all had clips, then.
People charge too much.
Indeed.

That's good, it was a beautiful day here just yesterday. So beautiful, in fact, that I got overheated at work and threw up!
Indeed.
