aw, the neighbor's black cat just did its rounds...I hope it gets the pesty gopher making a mound in my yard!

ya, so I never even knew there was such a thing as a gopher until I moved to California... aw look at that cute little critter popping his head up...NOT! put some veggies in and just as they were starting to produce I go out and- no plant - what!?!?!? then pops out that not so cute little head... and out comes the hose.

In Canada my friend and I would go for walks in the park and the tree squirrels would come up to us and take the food from her hand...so cute... move to California and the GROUND squirrels are a nightmare!I didn't know squirrels lived in the ground too, and their tunnels and holes are worse then gophers! They also eat my nectarine's ( which I planted the tree in a barrel because the gophers got the roots the first year.) Nasty , nasty squirrels.

it's their defense! if they weren't so cute we wouldn't be hesitating to get rid of them. And gophers together are very nasty, they attack each other viciously. I think squirrels stay in packs. When I drive down the road there always seem to be a few running across the road together.

Our pests are Cane toads. Luckily there aren't any where i live.
They're ugly... and poisonous
