River Song is fine with being married to male or female; although, River died, and going to the singing towers was the last time the Doctor was supposed to see her alive before she died (She died back when Tenant was a doctor). I can' remember who is the main writer, but he's going to be leaving as well, and a new writer is going to take his place. It may or may not be canon, but the doctor's supposed name is Winifred. Of course,
that may also just be a joke.
