No idea what the white elephant gift exchange is. Not sure if it will be a dumpter dive kind of thing or we give gifts to each other? Or like an item we buy in the shop & it is a surprise joke gift?

White elephant usually is something you have gotten but can't use or don't want (although sometimes people throw in a nice gift in there!), and you trade it off at the party. I actually have NEVER done one in real life! But my coworker has talked about the ones she goes to every year.

The sweater contest is happening ( although I haven't clicked on it to submit anything yet).

If you follow the Novalia link the Novalia starts like Dec 21 or 22 and runs until New Year's eve. So that is still to come - where I am assuming you will check in at the front desk each day. So don't miss that!
