Gong Hei Fat Choi!
The Lunar New Year festivities have begun all around the world!
It's traditional for hong bao, or red envelopes to be given out at the new year. Red is good luck and hong bao is said to ward off evil spirits and sometimes old age! Today, these packets are typically filled with crispy new bills, the amount dictated by numerology or homophones. But the overall theme is to wish your loved ones a long and successful life, so the importance is your blessing, not the money!
On Windlyn, Hong Bao are filled with special items! Some new and bovine, some traditional.
You can pick some up at The Lazarus.
Send envelopes to your friends for them to receive the contents! Be sure to gift away all the envelopes before the event is over, otherwise they won't be able to be opened anymore!
