I don't want it to ruin the site for me but it kind of does. the last event was really fun and i loved it but i feel really sad about this one, i've got no clue about these things and it's just so discouraging for me. I usually like treasure hunts on sites but probably because they refer to certain parts of the site (shoes shop, donation page, avatar creator, etc) so it's accessible for everyone, i have no knowledge about threads here because i'm new

I know. But please, don't let it ruin this place. This place is wonderful, and everyone is so kind. And you're wonderful too. I want you to stay, to enjoy yourself. Please, give it another chance. We all find something we don't like about a site, but if we look past that, we can find so much more things that we DO like. Please, give it another chance.

I'm not sure, but perhaps how well you know English slang or not would have any bearing on success? I don't think it does, but perhaps... Like day 2's limerick--you'd have to equate "dog" on a "plate" with "hot dog."

In any case, if you get stuck, just ask for clues. Everyone wants you to succeed!

I knew it meant hotdog, but that search brought up inconclusive results for me. So I searched Cafe, and that brought me to Mika's hangout. I searched cafe because of the word plate, I'm not sure why I thought that, but I did. It was quite time consuming, but I did enjoy the nostalgia.

Anyway, "cafe" is too complex--perhaps you're overthinking it. The other clues were "serious" and I think "big discussion" or "passionate" discussion (I can't remember the exact words used).

Anyway, like Kit, the procedure I use is to search key words from the limerick to find threads that fit other clues. Which key words are you using for day 3?

I love all of the hints I’ve already seen and remember- there is nothing wrong with pm-ing someone for a little hint. We just didn’t want to see direct links or thread names here.
