That must have been so scary for you! I hope you keep the doors locked at all times, and look around you when you go out! Did you hear or see anything? Sounds like it was a domestic problem though so who knows when someone is going to flip. Thankfully it sounds like the 2 younger sons were away at school when it happened. Those poor boys!

Someone over on recolor.me mentioned the site
I spent several hours explaining to people that trying to make multiple accounts in rapid succession will get you banned from the site, that there was an update going on, and y'all are slamming the poor site so YES IT IS GOING TO BE SLOW CALM THE FUCK DOWN
Then the person who made the site cane in and went "oh fuck. Didn't think it would get that much attention, much less this much trouble. Thanks for talking to them Kit"
From that war zone, an update got a delay, a lot of potential members got banned before they could join (and trust me they were the nastier members), and of those that did make it through, I believe none of them ended up staying cuz rec is very loose with the few rules it does have and mods have no power while here there's an actual set of rules people must follow and mods who have power to do what they must and they couldn't adjust to actually having rules and such that they couldn't brazenly ignore
So yeah. There was almost a large surge, but between the timing and who, be glad it didn't happen

Yeah, when you need to block at least 50 people to get the place to not be the absolute worst, and your block list is easily 100+ because you don't even need an email to make an account so making mules is piece of cake, it's bad
