I wish we had a car. Our always seem to die when it starts to get Winter time. Now we are without, but borrowing my mother-in-law's car sometimes.

I think sometimes the Enterprise rental car have good prices on used cars...or was that police auction...? And when old people get their keys taken away so they can't drive the family often sell of the cars. Keep that in mind for when you are ready to start looking.

Yeah, doesn't help that we are living paycheck to paycheck right now. Guess we will try to get one next year?

well, I am coming to realize that sometimes those that have the better life are the ones who's families had to struggle but still maintained a strong loving family bond...I look at so many people who have money and feel entitled to things but have no family bond and really end up wasting their lives anyway on drugs and aolchol or debt to keep up their lavish life styles,

But when you feel like you are barley making it day to day it puts a cloud over things and is hard to see the silver lining

I grew up frugal, so even if I did have money, I would still want to be conservative with it. I would want to just get the things we need (car, house, bills, etc) then only treat the girls like once a month with going out to eat.

I totally second what Lemon said, bonds are more important than money. ^^ Don't go neglecting your babies because you want to earn more money for their future. Eventually they may lose sense of the value of family and your efforts to raise them. ;v; You really won't want that to happen because it isn't very pretty.
I've seen children who were raised on mountains away from many of the materialistic things we grow up around today and they seem more happy than I am to be honest. xD I kind of envy them even if it's just for a while.
