Actually start working on my lawn n stuff this year once good weather rolls around
I wanna turn it into a natural garden barring a small area so there's little to no maintenance on my end

Low maintenance is good & also can work as a fire buffer around the house.
So many things a homeowner has to consider ...especially to also help reduce maintenance costs.

I have bulbs I transplant, right now I have a lot of paper whites blooming & soon the daffodils will be up. I planted some new species...plus it helps gophers & rabbits don't like to eat them & they come up every year on their own.

I'll be happy if I can keep skeeters away, I think there's a stagnant pond in the area that they breed in because they're really bad every year
I'd be happy with anti-mouse but somehow I don't think there's plants for that

We call it "defensible spec" to slow fires down.

Ugh skeeters are the worst! They loooove me tho...

I seem to recall mice and skeeters don't like some plants. Peppermint or lemon grass was it?
