selling pawn items is DISCOURAGED on Windlyn, that is why they are only worth 1 feather. (Versus fishing pond items being worth full value to sell to the pawn shop)

If you DON'T want even items there are members who will buy them or trade them for you. (Check out my barter town thread if you want to trade).

For this event you are better off redeeming the gems for items and then putting them in your personal shop later or trading some others who miss the event for past items, or starting your own charity thread.

The total scores are really impressive! Everyone has been working really hard for the event.
Pink is usually in the lead for around a thousand points, so whether or not purple wins, I want to show my appreciation for my purple teammates' efforts.

Pawning the gems off seems faster than cashing it in for spares atm ;___;
So it's a tradeoff between time/number of clicks and item rarity

Currently have over 10k in gems - even spending them feels daunting

Ye- shopping cart mechanic for the item exchange would be nice.

So I tried to see if pawning the gems off would be less tedious and. It's not. It takes forever to get around a hundred gems in the cart lol

Finally whittled down my gems from 13k to 8k though (via item exchange) @_@

i'd recommend getting extras of items from the event that you feel will be worth it later for trading. windlyn is still growing and many ck users or old players may return and want to trade rare stuff for those items. the bgs, fgs and outfits seem like a good place to start. keeping extras of the event gems can be worth it for trading as well.

Ashton : I find physical therapy has always helped me when my wrists & arms are weak ( like can't pull up my zipper kind of no strength). Hope you can get some help so you can get back to things you love to do.

i had surgery on one of them and even with physical therapy, using my wrists like that for too long just causes pain

To make it easier to cash in your gems for multiple items at a time:

Choose an item & click redeem

The box appears asking if that is what you want to buy

As soon as you click "OK" then click redeem on another item

Continue between redeem & ok until it refreshes ( I can usually get all the items showing on my screen, at least 9 to 12 at one time))
