It was only because they were trying to protect you...did you show them the sites and let them know what you talked about on them? Some sites are dangerous and guidance is important.

I tried telling them it was alright, but they didn't listen.

I was only on avatar sites so my dad never really noticed
I'm glad I was able to use them huge part of my childhood
