You can still fish! Doesn't matter if you get no item from it, it still counts for the quest!

Kitalpha Hart Cast your line still, even though you may not get any items, it will still count as you'd done your fishing task

If you get the quest to buy from the shop two times, do not, I repeat, DO NOT put two items in a cart then buy them. The quest only counts that as one slkjfdklj
