You walk through the street and the wind howls all around you knocking the leaves off the trees above. They fall around you in a shower of reds and yellows. There’s a nip in the air and you cling your sweater closer to your body as the cold nips at your cheeks and nose. The hair on the back of your neck stands up, and you stop where you were, feeling very unsettled. What is it? Ghosts? No… You sniff the air. Pumpkin.

Hey Winners!

Do you know what time it is? Time for a Fashion Contest!

Oh boy am I excited, or what?!
Last year, the darn, pesky zombies ruined the Halloween festivities I planned for all of you. You guys were awesome and helped me take care of them! This year I'm sure they won't try to stand in the way of our fun!

One of the things I love most about Halloween (besides the candy, of course!) is all the fun costumes! I love dressing up! I've already got my seasonal outfit on!
To celebrate this year, I've planned to have a costume party! This isn't just any kind of party though... I'll be looking to reward some winners for having the best costumes! Now, I know everyone has their own styles-- I do too! To be fair, and impartial, the moderators of Windlyn have been helping me put together some themes to score you by and will help judge!

Here’s how it works:
    Image Each week in October will have a different theme! Each theme will be decided by a different moderator (who will also be the head judge that week), and revealed every Saturday.
    Image The deadline for entering will be every Friday at Midnight(12:00AM PST). Late submissions will not be accepted, as it is unfair to others, sorry!
    Image Three (3) winners will be announced on Saturday of each week!

Entering the fashion contest makes you eligible for one of the following prizes:
    Image First Place: 30 Wings, 15 Pumpcoins
    Image Second Place: 20 Wings, 10 Pumpcoins
    Image Third Place: 10 Wings, 5 Pumpcoins
ImageAll winners will have their avatars shown off on the front page of Windlyn for the following week.

How to enter:
    Image Dress up your avatar according to the theme of the week
    Image Post in this thread with the phrase “Trick or Treat”
    Image You can include a picture of your avatar if you wish (if you think you’ll change it before we can grab it, or just want to give us a hand). To do so:
      Image Save your avatar by right clicking your avatar in the sidebar. Click “Save image” or “save as”.
      Image Upload the image to a hosting service
      Image Add to your post here using the image tags:

Sounds like fun! I'm going to try out a few looks before I submit my entry... only thing is the items are all so cute it is going to be hard to make one that is scary! Can't wait to see what the pumpcoins give us!!
