A nice hot meal of steamed or baked salmon with a lemon pepper mustard sauce and some steamed veggies. I still need to perfect my lemon pepper mustard sauce and I already started thawing out some chicken for tonight so this craving is going to have to wait for another day.

Ooo, I'm intrigued! I have never had that and I like all of those flavors. What kind of pepper and mustard are in your sauces (unless that's a secret!).

galled I just use a normal yellow mustard since the brown mustards tend to have added sweeteners (they also hurt my stomach a bit too). I tend to use whole peppercorn in a pepper grinder and just grind it into the mix of lemon juice and mustard. I think I need to add a little more cream to it though because it can be quite strong, but mustard sauce is just so good on most fish.
Yep, it thickens it up a bit and mellows out the mustard taste. I don't have any actual measurements because I just wing it and throw everything together. I need to probably start measuring things out and write them down though.
