I'm all for the meeting together of friends! Just to relax together instead of distancing ourselves ... not knowing whether we can give someone a hug or even a handshake - is so frustrating!

Maybe one of your friends will teat you. Or can you order something cheaper then shrimp? I know what it is like to be working on a tight budget & having to make sacrifices but sometimes there are other options. Like can you go visit after they eat? Go for coffee?
