I volunteer to help when I am visiting.

At the party I was at yesterday for someone turning 100 I volunteered to help serve the food & stayed to clean up. I don't know how she was expecting to do it all herself ... too many people attended!

Someone gave me a delicious recipe for lemon scones that I am going to try. They made theirs with lemon raspberry & lemon blackberry, They weren't biscuity like most scones are.

I just made lemon scones as I did not have berries but they turned out good. I think I should have left them in the oven maybe 5 minutes longer but I was afraid to over cook them.

They actually were pretty easy to mix together & only take about 15 min to cook in a hot oven.
