"Bingsu is a popular Korean dessert made from a base of finely shaved ice (often milk-based for creaminess) piled into a mound and covered with sweet toppings like sweetened red beans, fresh fruit (strawberries, mangoes, kiwi), chewy rice cakes (tteok), condensed milk, syrups, nuts, and cereal. While traditionally water-based, modern versions use frozen milk for a fluffier, snowflake-like texture, forming the fluffy "snowflake bingsu".
