What holidays do you celebrate?

Kit- how can you wait that long to put up the tree? I have a friend who they take the tree down on boxing day (day after Christmas). I try to stretch it out as long as I can...

Do you have theme's for decorating your tree? One friend they put gold bows all over the tree, another bird themed ornaments, another shell ornaments, another blue and white...ours is a hodge podge of ornaments collected through the years.

We put ours up the weekend after Thanksgiving and we take it down at some point before Valentines day. XD

This year, my rambunctious kitten is now a rambunctious cat. I'm afraid for my tree's safety! Lol

Mousy- maybe don't put any dangly ornaments at the bottom - although I suppose if you put shiny balls at the top the cat will try to climb up the tree! Have your camera ready because maybe you can get a good shot of its antics and win Americas funniest videos!! Wouldn't that be cool!!

Lol, everyone here has such bad allergies to trees we put up an artificial tree (otherwise it would be weeks of sniffling and sneezing). I've tried to do a real wreath at work but same problem...I've always wanted to just decorate one growing in the yard but after awhile somehow they just get too big.

We don't put up a tree until the week before or whenever I want to buy it. I don't like celebrating Christmas before Thanksgiving and people who have hung up lights already in my town and in the neighboring towns annoy me greatly. It's like, calm down people.

I LOVE Christmas lights... I'd have the white or blue ones year round if I could. I love driving around looking at how people have lit up their homes and its cool to see when the palm trees have the lights wrapped around their trunks.
