Favourite themes, colours and schemes!

Postby ShiroGEM » Wed Feb 22, 2017 9:21 pm

Hello! This is a discussion about your favourite things so I can gather feedback and inspiration for things from you guys. :grin_wink: I won't give any spoilers just yet but you'll see~

Anyways, the title pretty much says it all.
What are your favourite themes, items, objects, concepts?
Are there any colour schemes you particularly like? Post them here!
What are your aesthetics? What do you enjoy looking at the most?

I might add more topics as we go along but it would be nice to hear your opinions! :heart:

Cool idea Shiro!

I love gazing at the stars so I was thrilled when we got a star pond and space themed items on here. And everyone on Windlyn should know my favorite color is green ... and deep rich colors

@Lemon Cheesecake

Really? I always thought it was yellow because of your name! What shade of green is your favourite? I'm personally not a big fan of viridian or neon but sap green or muted cool greens that are close to turquoise are nice.
Yass space is everyone's favouritee

I like to dress my Avatar in yellow, especially since the yellows on here are so bright and cheerful, but irl I look horrible in it, but I have yellow flowers in my garden... forest green used to be my favorite, I stay away from neons - too hard on the eyes.

*COUGHSLOUDLY*TIGHTS*COUGHS*
im an advocate for masculine/neutral items, strictly speaking windlyn. black/navy/red are my favourites!
i'd love to see more subdued hues though like what lemon said, the bright colours actually match well.

for themes, im really into rpg/fantasy, victorian style, or themed stuff like circuses or mori-mori!
most of the outfits on windlyn are more, hmm, modern? you can definitely see people wearing them IRL!
your avatar rn is really pretty because although there's a recurring theme, it's not one bland filled colour :^) i like that alot!

@Lemon Cheesecake
Yea lemon is nice as a colour but I look bad in it too. In general I think it's too bright to be worn most of the time. ;_; Forest green is a nice colour and i'll be sure to keep it in mind that you like green. c:

Omg stop I have no clue what you're talking about. >_>;
Do you have any examples of "masculine" clothing items because I think most of the items here are pretty neutral like pants and sweaters.
Yess I like mori too! Do you lean towards more casual or fantasy styled mori?

*coughs*ihavethemsaved*coughs*
wow i really need a cough drop >:)

i say masculine/neutral because most of the items you use to make male avatars are meant for gender neutral. basically, anything that isn't a skirt or a dress and is, well, super cute if you forgive me for stereotyping.

hmm... i like both i think! though im not sure what fantasy mori is. id love to draw some mockups when i have time, because i have several mori designs meant for adopts sketched up!

oh, since people were talking about how everyone in windlyn are tiny fairy people, gigantic items make my day! oversized food ftw!

nuuuu why you do this //squishes/
Lol so basically more pants or shorts?

I don't really know how to explain but maybe something like plants and flowers growing out of clothes (ok maybe that isn't mori anymore) as opposed to the mori style we get in google images with knit sweaters or muted coloured dresses?? Ooo show please!

You do have a gigantic fork though. C:

There are pants to buy in the shop and each event usually has something more male related. The giant utensils were a fun idea!

True with the shoes, I need high boots. *v*
Weeps i'm sorry my vocabulary dictionary is tiny but yeee I like both of those!
Just text it to me ;u;

@Lemon Cheesecake
Yea the pants are nice but I tend to lean towards the skirts and dresses sometimes because of the huge variety! I like the giant sandwiches too. c:

Yea, but I don't really fancy the fluff, it's too wintery for anything else. That's painful though? They have heels. o - o
