Like if I wanna ask about peoples' pets but there's no forum specifically for that, I'd post it here. Because it's an actual topic and discussion, it isn't spam.

I've never seeen General Discussion as a chat place.

I see it as a palce where the thread needs a specific topic or topics, but not necessarily so specific it fits in other areas....or is something not covered by other areas.

But that's just me XD

Well GD is really a place to talk about a certain topic, however some do have a vague topic that pretty anything can happen.

I mean, it is a "general" discussion, so as long as it's an actual topic for conversation, feel free to post away!

Although topics like this, and "I haven't been on in a while" kind of things are more reserved for just general "chats", not discussions. Which I'm working on making a forum for that soon!
