The Cursed Snow Challenge

How many of you have seen the cursed snow challenge pop up in your newsfeed on FB?
If you dont know what the challenge is, let me explain.

You basically go outside naked, or with the least amount of clothing possible and jump in a snow bank.

Now let me give you a description of the Michigan weather at this moment.
I can make it snow by throwing boiling water into the air.

Let me describe a picture i saw to show how cold it is in Chicago.
(i dont have the pic, just saw it)
It was a picture of a toilet, and the water within the toilet was frozen solid.

So now that you've gotten 2 descriptions of the weather, tell me what you think about the morons who have done this so called snow challenge?

I literally think it is one of the dumbest things to do.
And i hope anyone who did/does it gets pneumonia.
I hope you survive said sickness, but i hope you get it and go, "Why the hell did i jump into that snow bank naked?"

Oh, I've actually seen this! Gosh it's so ridiculous. I mean, I've never actually seen it, but I keep hearing stuff about it. It's been so bloody cold out, I can't believe anybody would do this!

And I live in Canada, too. So I feel your pain with the snow and stuff. I don't even like going outside to recycle things, let alone these crazy people jumping around naked, haha.

Its so ridiculous.
I saw one video and the guy (i know him) was like, "Oooh its fucking cold!"

And i was just like, "Yes. Its snow. ._."

I posted this same topic on another site and two people told me i was horrible for wishing pneumonia on those who have done this.

I never wished them to get sick.
And i dont want them to die.
I just think, they need to get sick and itd be like mother nature going, "GEE I WONDER WHAT COULD HAVE CAUSED THE SNIFFLES."

Hmm.
Maybe i can be a horrible person at times though.

Nah, I get what you mean. It's not like you actually want them to, haha. It's just human nature to say things like that. Nobody really wishes someone else got seriously injured or sick.

I think its just a cold.
So far i only have a clogged throat.

Ick, I would SO much rather a stuffy nose than a icky throat. I don't know what about sore throats I hate so much, haha. I think it's the thought of mucus and stuff in the throat, instead of the nose. Just grosses me out.

We dont really get too much snow in Australia
and by that i mean ive never actually seen snow before
Mostly people just go jump off the breakwater for kicks

I've lived in Canada all my life, haha. This past winter lasted from November to March. I hate snow, because the cold makes me sick. And I haaate being cold! Haha. I like warmth. :cc

I'm curious though- what about Christmas? D: You can't go run outside and build snowmen!

No, during Christmas we don't make snowmen. We hide cause its hot out. lol

Or yeah hide inside because its too hot
I was in Oklahoma for christmas a couple of years ago it was weird being cold over christmas
and opening your presents in the morning is much less enjoyable when its freezing

I've never heard of this before.. o: But definitely sounds like a bad idea if the temperature is that cold.
The temperature when it snows is never as cold as those freezing days without any snow to me. xd

Yeah, it was craaaazy huge here. This winter, literally everything on FB was the "24-hour Snow Challenge." Which was just really annoying.

It started out as this fun thing, I guess somebody was raising money for something important (MS, cancer fundraiser, etc. Something like that, I forget what it was) and so if you got "nominated" you'd do this challenge, donate to this cause, and nominate other people and stuff. It was a cool idea, at least for a fundraiser.

Well, honestly nobody even knew that, because people were like "lol this looks so funny omg" so everything on my FB feed was girls in bikinis being all "OH MY GAAWWDD CHELSEA I HATE YOU FOR NOMINATING ME LOL SO-AND-SO AND BLAH BLAH I'M NOMINATING YOU, YOU HAVE 24 HOURS BITCHESSS~ <33" and jumping in the snow, then you have to spend like 30-60 seconds or something in it and then chug a beer right after, then nominate two other people, then post it to Facebook and tag them. It was sooo stupid and annoying.
