These days I would be worried if someone got on the plane and then off again...I'd be notifying the flight attendants... too bad you weren't able to find out the rest of the story... did she look like she was looking for someone?

One time I was in a window seat in coach class and a big man, who took up almost 2 seats, was in the aisle..I couldn't get up to go to the bathroom for most of the flight because he fell asleep and I didn't want to attempt to get by him.

I try to just avoid plane rides in general. They just seem to put me in an awkward situation.

Ah, that sounds awful! Well, depending how much you needed to go. But I'd probably not try that either.

I actually really love the public transportation here
I've never had any problems, except during rush hour... you really do get to experience the feeling of being a sardine in a can...

It's also something I experience very often (flights, buses, and trains) and reading through this thread makes me feel super lucky :'D The worst that's ever happened was when the bus I was riding got into a small accident and drove into traffic light. Nobody got hurt, though..

One time, this lady that sat behind me just kinda kept... smelling my hair... like, it was neon pink at the time and she thought it would smell good or something?

To be fair, your hair did smell very good. haha

I remember one time while heavily pregnant with my little one i got on the bus and nobody would let me have a seat like at all... i nearly fell over 4 time... i think they probably just thought i was really fat or something.. it was kind of disheartening and then finally nearly a half hour into my 1 hour bus ride a guy a couple years older than me let me sit down because he realized i was pregnant....

wah, that's awful! generally speaking don't priority seats exist for a reason ^^;

im glad you were able to sit in the end though.. did you actually ask and explain you were pregnant and wanted to sit down? sometimes people can get pretty blur... but if you did and they still refused, im just wow, did they drink the ocean to get that salty Dx

yeah very rude and I swear at least one set of girls that were a bit further back on the metrobus were laughing whenever I'd almost fall over n stuff

I mostly have benign metrobus stories as I usually get to meet and chat with nice people on them

talking! to strangers! on the metrobus! i always want to make conversation, but my anxiety has me goin nuts haha. also there's that fact nobody wants to sit next to me and its so awkward to sit next to someone when there's a row free...

loooooooong, looong ago though, i was really little and was separated from my parents on the bus, I got to talk with a businessman who explained how he clips his cats nails. weird topic...

I generally sit by myself and read or listen to music or use the metrobus wifi if the bus has it other than that I just try and talk to interesting looking people and make friends or at least conversation and brighten up someone's day somehow

interesting looking people huh... i do hit people up if they're in casual cosplay, but even then it takes alot of internal panicking before i say 'hi'. <v> needs to be more people like you
