I kick and jerk my legs and will flail my arms, so that it is like punching...but I think that it is more often when I am dehydrated, on sugar or caffeine overload or any combination of those. My legs feel restless and don't want to settle down and sometimes the circulation in my arms makes me want to shake them out. Ya, I'm not the best person to try and snuggle....I like my space!

I woke up lying on a concrete floor when I went to sleep on the top bunk of a bunk bed. I still don't know if I rolled off or started to sleep walk and had unconsciously decided to just lay on the floor. I don't trust top bunks anymore. I won't take the top bunk anymore.

Monkey, that is so scary! I'd you had rolled off you could have been seriously hurt!I'd be taking the bottom bunk to be on the safe side too. Well, if you had fallen you probably would have had bruises or something. Most likely you were half asleep and got up. Fortunately, I have no problems with top bunks.

I was told by my dad that I always sleep talk. I actually caught myself almost sleep talking or middle of sleep talking last night....*tells my roommate*..... so I looked up at her mumbling at her lol.

Bassy: It might be that you don''t sleep soundly enough and so any disruption brings you partially out of your sleep and you speak during that transition. I think that is what does it for me.

Yeah, I might have just been sleep walking again there, but still, can't be too sure.

It's funny how I never heard Bassy sleeptalk, lol. But other people have.

Monkey, maybe Bassy felt more comfortable when you were in the room with her and so didn't sleep talk...however, that doesn't answer why you would sleep walk if she was in the room with you....

I've woken myself up laughing in my dreams... or humming.

I think stress has a lot to do with a fitful sleep and so more chances of not quite being all the way under and hence talking in both realms

I woke up this morning hearing myself sleeptalk. So I do too, apparently. Lol.

Though, normally it's when my brain thinks I'm answering a phone. Like, once, I was asleep and I thought I was on the phone with my dad. I didn't hear my dad's voice, but I was carrying on in a conversation for a moment before I woke up. But this morning, I woke up hearing myself when I thought I was on the phone with my friend which we never do phone calls, just text and skype, so that was weird. I woke up after saying hello, but I was mainly mumbling, lol. It was weird. It took me a minute to process that I wasn't on the phone. My phone was turned off, lol.

Maybe it is your brain trying to tell you to call your friend! <I hope friends call for your birthday>
