We have hit over 24 hours without power
Estimated time is "assessing damage"
We don't expect any power back until tomorrow

I don't know what will happen for dinner

People are getting power back, but there still plenty more lacking power. The wind is back to normal, more or less

Dad's part time job at BJ's had to close early cuz their skylights broke, they're boarded up now tho

Roads are opening up, tho

hope your Dad won't lose pay, that would suck even more. Good thing roads will be usable, got to watch out for those falling trees.

They were boarded up well before his shift started
He spent his first three hours moving everything that had been moved away from those spots back

Yeah, he charged his phone up while he was at work
Mom charged up an external pack thingie meant for recharging phones without being connected to a wall for me to use, cuz she knew that my phone was gonna be dead by the time she got back home

Got me to about half charge before it ran out of juice
Better than nothing, I say

I hope tomorrow will have power again cuz now my iPad is getting low
Places nearby are getting power back, so hopefully

Ground pork, noodles, and gravy

Windstorm has passed, yes
But the outages are widespread enough they've got people from out of state and Canada coming to help the crews

Holy cow!! I am going to need to update myself on the news. My brother is Toronto had no power, in the middle of winter, for a whole week! He camped inside his living room with his tent and camping gear.
