Oooh, In L.A there is a hotel that people say is haunted. On the 9th floor, people say that you can hear the footsteps of a little girl running down the hallway. (though, its probably someone actually running down the hallway.) and that there is a room that a dead nurse haunts. (I don't know if this counts.)

uugh, it wasn't -_- their toilets were really loud and the air upstairs was muggy. They also gave us a room with only one bed when there was four of us. Dx

Actually, black cats are more known as signs of good luck. They just somehow got associated with witches and so the superstitions began.

Black cats bring good luck to owners but are known to curse those that wrong their owners or them.

At least, that is how it goes.

Well I have a list of interesting facts about black cats, and somewhere among those cool facts, it got associated with witches because of certain reasons why women would have cats. I will have to look up the link when I have a moment today.

It depends on what part of the world you are in. I know in India and Japan and a few other Asian places, white cats are bringers of death. Since white is the color of death (color of bones) for them.

In European and other countries it's black. Some say its because of black death but there's still a pretty interesting things about that too

Like I think one stated one of the reasons was that people who owned cats, specifically black ones, wouldn't catch black death. Many people thought it was magic but really, the cats was catching the rats xD But everyone was paranoid and put it down as magic.

uhhmm. I'm not sure if I remember this right, but don't let a black cat cross your path.

I've always hated that one. how mean to black cats!
