grandparents might... I've wanted to take a sleeper train across the country, I think they're cheaper too. Do you have air miles on credit cards? If you can visit relatives that could make a trip more affordable. i hope you can make it work out.

I only have one living grandparent and she's on the island tbh , I'm just going to wait and save up eventually to make a trip up to see certain family members n such y'know?

Not from Japan, but I've been! Also, Shiro's going for a school trip soon. :3c I think.
Thinking of taking a trip to the US next year since by then I won't need a visa,

Murr - do you need a visa if you are just vacationing in the U.S ? I know you need a visa to go to school here. You need a passport.

which part of Germany are you from? are you getting winter temperatures there yet or are you still in fall?

I had a friend come back from Alaska and she said that it poured rain, which surprised me because I thought it would be snow by now up there. Our weather the last couple years has been a dry winter, hopefully we will get rain for a change and fix some of this drought.

Near Hamburg. And it's getting colder, but it's fluctuating between 1 and 16°C. So still fall I guess.
Depending on where in Germany you live, the temperature is different by up to 15°C, too.
