oh no! Trapped with a mosquito! I'd be hanging on to my flashlight and turning it on every few seconds trying to look for it! (I'm pretty good at mosquito finding if I must say so myself).

Because they are sadistic creatures who do not take any pleasure in knowing you will sleep soundly.

I have been hearing other people's mosquito stories - the mosquitos are so small they can't see them.

One girl in my french class posted on her snapchat story some days ago about this giant mosquito that was flying around her kitchen. She called for her mom to come and kill it, but her mom refused because "real life doesn't have bug killers." She said it was a male mosquito, but I'm p sure it was female because the thing was giagantic (for a mosquito)

we call those daddy long legs but when I googled it there was a different image - either way it is NOT a mosquito so she can be relieved - but it is a REAL LIFE bug killer! (it eats other bugs!!)

Female mosquitoes are tiny. The big ones are all males.

...if you are trying to reduce the population I guess? Although...I wonder if any research HAS been done to see if mosquitos act like vacinations where they excrete a small amount of the disease for the body to build up antibodies against? Or where they excrete anything in particular that is beneficial?

Kit, Interesting thought for research actually

everything has a purpose, so it kind of makes sense...they treat some diseases with other diseases after all and they are researching that to kill cancer tumors.

The thing is, the mosquitoes get the diseases from the prey they get blood from, and then they give off the disease and such when going to someone else for blood. That's why doctors never use the same needle when giving shots because they could get their patients sick.
