If I drank that much water before I ate I would throw up for sure. I've been trying 1200 calories a day for the past week and lost a couple pounds. Some days are better than others depending on what I have eaten. I do find soup helps with making me more full and I can have it through out the day with out throwing the calorie count way off. But it is the cookies and candy that are really big on the calories.

I think last week I was starving had had any food all day but had some oreos. I was not full after four oreos and yet I had half a bowl of chili with two pieces of bread for dinner and I'm hungry again. I don't know why and I've been drinking water all night.

half a bowl of chili and 2 pieces of bread really aren't that many calories - You probably have another 500 calories you can eat (and that includes the oreos). The idea is to not starve yourself, which can lead to health problems, make healthier choices in the foods you do eat without eliminating foods you do like, just eating less of them if they have more calories.Apparently if you do not have enough protein in a day you feel hungry. I don't find water does anything to make me full, unless it is hot, so I have some tea, or hot lemon and black coffee is no calories.

Lemon the one my dad makes is a tweaked version of Bear Creek's Darn Good Chili. He uses the package as a base and then adds to it. *nods head*

Mousy now I want to try that too! *puts a cookie on your head*

I will have to remember that one day. I also want to convince my dad to make Huevos Rancheros one day.

I think huevos rancheros is basically salsa with scrambled eggs with cheese in a burrito, you can even make it!

Haha nope that is a Breakfast Burrito! Huevos Rancheros is Tortilla laid on a plate with some kind of meat, cheese, rice, beans, salsa and a fried egg on top of it. It's an open faced Burrito if you want to look at it that way like the open faced sandwich. *nods head*
