But it's also, people are attracted to nice things. That includes attitude. You could look nice, but a rotten attitude can act like insect repellant, but this time a human repellant.

If I saw someone throwing a tantrum or just have a noticeably bad attitude, I steer clear of them because they obviously need their space and it just wouldn't be fun to be around them. If this person keeps it up, I WILL tell them that they need to cut the attitude and be happier if they want people to talk to them. Of course, in a nice and polite way. I almost feel like they need someone to help them out but their attitude just keeps going. It's obvious the user is a teenager.

that reminds me of another pet peeve - when people act like they are entitled ...sorry, you're not.

Monkey: I like that description, "a rotten attitude can act like insect repellent"

oh man
this this this
i recently had a guy complain to manager about me because i was "rude" to him.. after he THREW the money at me. no exaggeration, and all i did in return (instead of tell him to shove it up his ass, which is what i wanted to do) was i ignored his outstretched hand and put it on the bench. apparently he thought he was allowed to be as rude as he pleased, with no retaliation from me. Oh (almost forgot the rest) THEN after that he started telling me i had a "funny forehead" :S and making fun of my appearance. which is dumb, because... im not terrible looking? and my forehead is totally normal?? just terrible attitude.

I have to put up with a pretty steady stream of rude customers at work, because of how many come through a day, but the throwing the money at me is a MAJOR pet peeve /huffs

This guy in my class laughs at everything (even things that aren't remotely funny) and just talks, even if someone else is talking, and when he talks, it's loud and it's slow. Granted, I think he has some mental problem (not meant offensively) but it's just so cringey.

ah Ryvvi, I'm sorry you have such bad customers....(to bad you can't sue them for harassment! Or work for an unsafe environment!)
your nasty customer reminds me of one we had -who actually had brain cancer- who kept telling my co-worker "what's wrong with your hair? Your hair's a mess! How come you came to work with hair like that?", she actually ALWAYS brushes her hair and looks presentable where as my hair is fly away and ends up all over the place. She made some polite comments back but, really? Anyway we still get a laugh out of it, but he did die so it may have been the tumor talking.

Bad fanfics and me restraining from ranting in the comments section about how their story makes no sense and seemed to have things written out of convenience or because they like a certain character.

Been reading this one fanfic that I liked years ago and I'm like, "How did I like this? This is terrible! This person isn't even on the same team as the two other characters in the story, why did the mc (reader insert so apparently me) end up with a rival? Why introduce a character that is there to say "Oh, you're the sweetest person I ever met!" When they have only seen each other for 5 seconds and literally takes the terrible situation that is supposed to make the story worth reading and craps all over it by taking it out of the frickin story as in, the character is put there just to say that one line and make the character forget everything so the following questions asked by another character could be asked.

Convenience, I tell you. And nonsense.

Fanfics peeve me off.

Can you put a sticker on the spot? Buy a new book cover? Take the book cover off? Who got the spot on it anyway?

I did. I didn't throw away the waxy cover to those babybel cheeses and one ended up sticking to the book.

I like the babybel cheeses though, but not when the waxy stuff doesn't want to peel off.

Here's one: when people pretend to be knowledgeable on subjects they know nothing about. And when you probe them about these subjects they give vague, general answers or try to change the subject. Sometimes admitting you don't know something makes you look less dumb than faking it.

Another pet peeve of mine:
When someone tries to joke around when I'm trying to figure out what kind of flatizza they have but all they do is annoy me and waste time.
