So Starbucks changed their cups to a red for the Christmas season and people takes offense over it because it doesn't have a snowflake or whatever on it.

Really? Of all things to complain about in the world, these people chose to argue over a CUP!

Just a red cup is probably more cost effective for Starbucks and simple red is more regal. People seem to have nothing better to do when really, aren't there other things going on in the world that warrant and are worth our concern?

Also, I like the mocking suggestion of next year being blank and supplies with crayons so you can put on your own decorations

Might have to agree with user above, the worst of this was last month or so, when everyone and their mothers were making videos of the anger they had. I personally don't care as long as there is caffeine in my hand. xD

It's complete idiocy on so many levels. There are many, many religions in the world that don't even get recognition. That aside, red is a holiday color. Just goes to show that you can't please everyone even in matters as trivial as the color of a coffee cup

I thought the whole thing was a publicity stunt. Like no one was actually upset to begin with,but they created a controversy and people jumped on it. For publicity. Haha! There's also some nonsense going around about the Reeses trees looking like blobs.

i think my favourite thing about this was people who were upset, instead of just boycotting they were like
"im going to go there, BUY coffee then tell them my name is Merry christmas so they have to write it on my cup. ha im so totally smart"
i bet starbuck heard this and was like oh no... the coffee you bought... oh no ruined...
