Oh My! It's....a....SNOWFLAKE.

I don't really enjoy winter, or any cold weather at all, including snow (in certain situations). But....as a warm December month that is warm ever other year, finally saw some flurries! I have no idea why I am so excited about this!

Snow is so cool to see falling from the sky though! And usually there is a stillness and softness to snow - as in comparison to the pitter patter or down pour of rain.

We didn't get snow until February last year, but it was a good amount and definitely made up for it. XD

It usually doesn't hit us hard until January. That's where the big snow comes.

so, after it poured rain today (YAY! We desperately need it!!), we had a fine mist of rain...if the temperature was freezing then it WOULD have been snow...might be the closet we get to snow. Every so many decades we get a dusting of snow but usually the closest is hail.

We get snow maybe a little bit every other year. It's fun to see but can be a pain to deal with. It was more fun when I was a kid and could really appreciate it. Not sure if we're getting any this year.

we're suppose to get rain..can't remember the last time it rained on Christmas, it's usually sunny

We might get rain on Christmas eve and Christmas day. Looks like it will be mild out. Didn't think it was going to getting warming out but both days looking to be in the high 60's maybe even 70F.
