And it's not necessarily the best but ehh...
1. I'm not going back to the university I was in in the fall. I was put on academic probation, and for me, they decided to not let me use financial aid (aka student loans) and I can't afford to go back. It's mostly because of Humanities which I am terrible in and that I missed a couple of online tests that I didn't know were up. It was also just anxiety and it affecting everything I do sooooo yeah, not there anymore.
2. Going to be taking at least 1 class at a community college and do so until I get my associate's in arts, though I want to do the film program, but that's a certificate and my dad decided that I need to do associates in art and not do what I want with my life despite me enjoying filming.
3. Since I'm not going back to the university, I definitely won't be going back to the foodcourt. Have to tell them my plans have changed and that I won't be returning. In the mean time, I did get a job, which I'll tell you about in point 4.
4. I got hired onto Taco Bell, but the thing is, they didn't interview me, I couldn't do the online steps, and when I went in to see them, this lady told me she'll call me when the manager will be there (she was probably the ass. manager or supervisor or something) and she never did call back and I had went by on Friday saying that I had to call a number on the site I've had the problem on. The same day I heard I was apparently hired on to Taco Bell, I got a call from a Subway that was located in our WalMart. I got an interview with them. My dad keeps having me fill out tons of applications. Pizza Hut asked for an interview, Integrity, a temp service for Amazon, told me a position was available, and I'm getting oerwhelmed. And my dad still kept pushing me to fill more applications out. And then I hear from another temp service TWICE. He still kept pushing me like, DUDE! I have 5 job opportunities opening up from 4 different places. Give me a break! So, I was going to fill out the rest of the things for Taco Bell today when Subway called me and asked if I can start tomorrow. YES! I know Subway, I know all the subs, I need a bit of training, but it won't be as much as someone who never worked at a Subway before. I have to figure out how I'm going to tell Taco Bell that I found a different job that I am more interested in. I did hear from Taco Bell and subway at the same time, coincidentally. I just don't know how to go about it.
Subway interviewed me
Taco Bell didn't
Subway doesn't have all this online forms to fill out, though I probably still do have paperwork to fill out
Taco Bell has a bunch of online steps and forms to fill out which can end up with something going wrong
I know Subway
I don't know Taco Bell (As in, being a worker, not eating there)
Everything is complicated.
I just want this to end.
I'll probably call up Taco Bell Monday and tell them that I had a job opportunity which happened the same day they told me I was hired and that I have made my decision up to work with Subway instead.
Plus, not that this was a factor, lol, but they (Taco Bell) already had at least 2 people there with my same name, lol. Spelt the exact same way, too. lol
But yeah. Need to figure out how to tell Taco Bell that. Any tips or whatever? I'm not going to turn down Subway. I'd rather work there.
