We get yellow jackets regularly
We also usually see a bumblebee or two
Tho the old apple tree in the copse seems to be abandoned now and that was a honeybee nest
Ball hornets and the like...rare
But them black fuckers. They evil. A swarm can take over a room in less than a day

I was watching a swarm of mosquitos through the window - they would fly lazily around in a cloud of them, like they were planes at a busy airport waiting to land and then all of a sudden they would fly around each other in a maddening frenzy and then back to lazy and then back to frenzy etc - after the wind took them out of my view I don't know what they did. Made me rethink about going out at dusk.
