I have a small one but my pen doesn't work anymore. I prefer to draw traditionally and then scan it.

I'm not so good at drawing but I like to doodle on paper once in awhile. I'd like to figure out a tablet one day and see if it would help improve my drawing!

It takes getting a bit use to use a tablet. But being able to undo a mistake is so nice.

sigh, drawing is so hard on the wrists it seems though - and my wrists already hurt.

I still like the "old fashioned " stuff...a magazine or book you can actually hold and flip pages...paper and pen to write on... but the computer does make life easier and so available to get ready information and emails and texts instant contact.

People send email cards and newsletters now, not so many mail out Christmas cards anymore.

Sorry to hear about you wrists. I have a cushion mousepad and cushion to put in front of my keyboard. My fingers hurt when I write a lot with a pencil but drawing doesn't bother me much.

I like reading in an actual book. Reading too much text on the computer screen gets too my eyes. My grandma gave me her old Kindle and it's nice. Something in between a book and tradition screen. I like it cause it doesn't bother my eyes and is easy to hold.
I like making hand-made cards. I deliver them in person. Problem is I never know what to write on them.

Watery: Handmade cards are wonderful! People can be so creative, I find it inspiring!

I will read magazine articles etc online as well but the computer light does tend to bother me after awhile.

I wonder if anyone is celebrating the 8 days of Hannukah? I always thought that would be fun to celebrate... I mean we're talking 8 days! Gifts, food, fun!

There has to be, right?
I love hearing about different traditions.

As an American it feels like we don't have many traditions of our own.

ah...a christmas tree in your bedroom is so much fun! Does it have mini lights that you can leave on all night?

my father has a very traditional 'space tree'

which is just a mini plastic christmas tree covered in space themed ornaments; mostly from startrek and starwars haha.

Oh my gosh I would so love a tree decorated in star trek and star war items! Especially all the ships! That would be so cool! And if they lit up and/or made sounds that would be amazing! What a great idea!
