How do I English?

There's this poem that is frustrating me because I swear they made some words up.

It's supposed to be the hardest poem ever because the English language is weird because it is.

I had to challenge myself to saying something harder than Shakespeare.

What do you guys think? It's kinda long.

I like word games also where it's like "place 'that' somewhere in the sentence and it changes the meaning".

A fun fact I heard from my English major friends recently (not sure how accurate): Shakespearian accents were closer to american accents than what we typically think of them as being. We're used to the british performing plays being "proper" and the standard, so we've formed an improper image of the language, but I guess Americans accents didn't diverge too much from our English roots.

leisure just messes with me most.

I had to go to Google Translate for some words because I didn't know how they were pronounced and leisure is just one of those you can't pop into Google Translate for the pronunciation because of it being a piece of crap, lol.

How do you guys say it? Lee-shur or Leh-shur. If you get what I mean by that because I go lee-shur, lol.

I pronounce it leh-shur but then I pronounce quite a few words with my own slant.

I say tomato you say tomato.

I read both of those you wrote the same way, lol.

Lee zure, but I'm from the South. I'm not sure I should count in Englishing because we frequently butcher it.

I think I say it more like "Lee-Jure" Like lee rhymes with knee, and Jure is like jury.
I do have trouble saying things like "remember" though. Someone pointed it out to me I say "renember". How embarassing.

I think rural and rule are essentially the same, just a liiiitle more emphasis on the ur on rural
