Favourite kind of food?

It's well past time for another poll! Here's a silly one, since so many of the conversations on Windlyn are about food:

Are you a Sweet-food person, or a Savory-food person?

I love sweet food but my favorite meal is roast and yorkshire pudding with gravy - so does that make me savory?

I like sweets and all, but when thinking about savory, my mouth waters. I want a steak so bad from Golden Corral and the last I went was that one day they didn't serve steak.

Omg yes I love steak! I don't get to eat it too often but it is so goood. Especially when you only half cook it and it gets all nice and juicy.

Hang on, doesn't Golden Corral have huge issues about food sanitation? You might want to be careful, I saw something on reddit a while back and it looked like this. o-o

I wouldn't go back if I saw something bad in their line. I never had a bad experience with Golden Corral so I've probably been to the ones that do follow the procedures they're supposed to, I can't say for certain, but I've never eaten anything that tastes bad there or seen anything that looked bad.

The weird thing is, depsite me not living near that Golden Corral, but it's on the Ohio border and the next closest one they had was apparently in Kentucky which is the state I live in, but still, never had a problem with them.

But the Golden Corrals I've been to has high ratings, the one that I got to most, has a 4/5 star rating and the other I don't go to much because I live near a different one is 3.5/5 star according to Yelp. While I saw other Golden Corrals with MUCH lower ratings, like 2/5 stars.

I'm sure the one you frequent is fine (or you'd be hunched over the lav!), but the name of that chain cracks me up a bit. It sounds like a place that would serve horse meat or sell farm animal feed!

I wonder how many in the food businesses actually do market research on their names. I know on TV shows they usually name fictional restaurants with amusing names like The Hungry Heffer and The Feed Trough. Can anyone remember others?

I love pan fried gyoza! (potstickers) And my favorite ice cream mochi is...are...green tea and mango... I can't decide on a favorite...

Is golden corrall like home town buffet where it is a buffet style?

Golden Corral is a buffet.

I used to love Ryan's which is pretty much like Golden Corral, it's a buffet, but one day, on my b-day when I was little, we went to go to Ryan's and that building wasn't there xD

I joked that it grew legs and walked away.

I have a Ryan's in the city of my university but it isn't as good as the Golden Corral, it doesn't have much options. It's also in the same location, lol.
