How do YOU get out of getting pinched?

What do you like to do on that festive day?

Also, the holiday usually falls on spring break!

What is this about getting pinched?

I'm working for Spring Break. Uni part-time student worker life banzai~!

My ideal way to spend Spring Break/St. Patrick's day is... shut myself in and read stories.

The way I'll probably have to do it though is... go to work. Wear something green. Maybe a hairpin or something.

I'll usually wear a little green, but I don't know if the pinching thing is very common now...and I don't eat the corned beef and cabbage (unless someone else makes it) but I will probably eat potato's

We don't celebrate St. Pats here.. but seriously who came up with the idea to pinch people who aren't wearing green? It HURTS.

....er, still better than that one french holiday where people slapped each other with raw fish though.

I don't think I've ever been pinched for not wearing green. And if I wore green on St Pat's day it's only due to pure dumb luck/coincidence.

We don't celebrate St Paddy here but there is a saying about green... Like if two people say the same thing at the same time they have to touch something green and whoever touches it first gets the luck.

If we said the same word we'd say "Jinx" and then see who counted to 10 first. I like the idea of green and luck better.

im not sure about the similarities about glove slapping, but the citizens of this country would literally purchase a sizeable raw fish and slap friends with it to celebrate. something. im not sure.
